New Benefit Sets, and a Liquid Foundation and Fragrance from Clarins - Makeup and Beauty Blog

Benefit Her Name Was Glowla packaging

Nosotros had a few minutes to kill before the moving-picture show tonight, so I popped over to Macy's to see if they had anything new and interesting in the cosmetics department.

The Benefit counter was abuzz with some new express-edition sets, Clarins had a new liquid foundation (at least it's new to me), and I sniffed a new citrusy scent.

Benefit Her Proper name Was Glowla, $36

LOVE love the packaging of this limited edition prepare. Isn't it spicy? I actually take a pair of sunglasses that look almost similar the pair the woman on the box is wearing.

The kit comes with a bunch of Benefit standbys like Coralista blush, Loftier Axle highlighter, Moon Beam highlighter, a pulverisation eyeshadow palette with six neutral shades, Badgal Lash mascara and a lipgloss in Life on the A Listing.

A Benefit makeup artist at the counter said that these were selling out fast… Information technology does look like a pretty cracking deal for the price.

Benefit All You lot Need is Gloss, $26

Remember the dual-tipped lipglosses from last year's Glitz Glam & Gloss set? They're baaaack! 🙂

The All You lot Need is Gloss set comes with three of them (six gloss tips in all). The colors are I'chiliad With the Ring, Nigh Famous, Who Are You Wearing, 24K, Back to the Fuchsia and Life on the A List — some are from Benefit's Lip Gloss line (they take a light fruity flavor, a strong fruit dial scent and a thick just sheer texture) likewise as their Ultra Shine line (unflavored, but with a low-cal raspberry Creamsicle olfactory property; a thin still moisturizing, slightly sticky texture; and a lot of pigmentation.

Clarins Extra-Firming Foundation SPF 15, $42

I'm a fan of the Clarins brand, so this got my attention this night: looks like there's a new liquid foundation in boondocks. The display claims it firms, smooths and evens out the peel (like whatsoever practiced foundation should, right?). Judging past the swatch on the dorsum of my hand, the stuff packs plenty of paint and blends easily.

It comes in a pump top, too, which makes information technology pretty piece of cake to command. Available in ten shades called Ivory, Cream, Nude, Biscuit, Sand, Wheat, Beloved, Toffee, Amber and Anecdote.

Clarins Eau de Jardins, $48

More than fun at the Clarins counter tonight… They quite melodramatically (which I can appreciate!) call this smell an "uplifiting fragrance treatment." I was in a pretty proficient mood at the time, then I can't confirm or deny the "uplifting" merits, but information technology is a very citrusy scent, and I do love citrus.

I did a spritz on my wrists and picked up notes of grapefruit and orange (YUM!), just I think I might exist allergic to something in the fragrance because now my olfactory organ is difficult like a rock (I'm dodally sdubbed ub)!

Aren't the Do good sets intriguing? Particularly for the price?
